We were 10 people at the house and never felt crowded.
Ample parking for 2 cars - there were 7 adults and 1 infant in our party. In the evening we drove to Rethymno for a delightful explore and alfresco dining in their delicious Taverna style restaurants..
Nearby there are a traditional taverna (Poliou), and a lovely mezze bar (Romeo & Juliet).

The shaded pergola, with a table that can seat 8, was perfect for relaxing late into the night with a glass of wine or dining al fresco at breakfast. This continued until the end of the war.Overall my friends and I really enjoyed our stay at the Asteri Villa.
Nice quiet village only a Short drive to Rethymno. A large number of English, Australian, and Kiwi soldiers remained on Crete, unable to leave, when the Germans invaded.

Amazing 7 BR 6 bath ... Orlando. There were plenty of dishes, pots and pans, silverware, towels and other amenities.
